Trembling 7 month old!

DS keeps trembling, in a happy way. He's at that stage where he likes to sit and examine a toy for minutes on end. This week he has started having spells of trembling all over while he does this.

It's definitely not fitting. More the kind of fatigued muscle trembling that I would do if I tried to lift DH. He seems to get so overwhelmed by his interest in something that he tenses up all over and shivers for about 10 seconds at a time.

It doesn't bother him at all, just a little odd! DD never did this, so hoping to hear that some babies do.

Yep, I call it juddering but have no idea what it's actually called or why DS (11mo now but started once he could sit at 6mo) does it! It's like a wobbly shiver and lasts for the same, about 10 seconds. Weird but sometimes cute!

Thanks mouseface, sounds exactly the same.

It is kind of cute!

My DS does a little shiver when he wees. It is like when we say "someone has just walked over my grave"

My friend's DS did that juddery/shivery thing, too.

Yep, DD of 9 months has done it for ages. Just when excited - normally when our 3 year old yellow labrador bounds towards her! She squeals and kicks her feet at the same time! Cute!
