ok, so i have 3 ds. ds1 6yr has been dx with ADHD, however ds2 2.7yrs maybe showing signs but not sure if he is just copying ds1? it may just be me looking for thing that are not there. ds3 1.7yr is also very similar.

reasons for thinking this is the following:

no fear what so ever of anything.
constantly on the go (climbing, running)
on a recent shopping trip (just me and him) he was climbing on to shelves, into freezers, in and out of trolly
he doesnt concentrate for long if at all, but will get totally into tv (to the point that you could be screaming his name and jumping and waving infront of him and he still woulddn't notice!)
not a very good sleeper (but i do have all 3 in one room, so not sure who wakes who)

all this may well be 'normal' behaviour for his age. i just cant seem to work it out! would appreciate your thoughts!!!

They are very young, this does sound like normal behaviour to me. Mine are boys of 2 and 4 and rarely sit still apart from tv. They also ignore me completely til I yell at them or turn it off. They definitely encourage each other too so that makes the behaviour seem worse next to, say, a single child sitting still and being quieter.

I think a lot of mums (secretly) worry about undiagnosed conditions but you obviously have a different experience with your ds1.

It's hard to say anything useful without sounding either dismissive or diagnostic. They sound like lovely lively boys to me, don't wish for a numpty who never wants to do anything!

Sounds like my toddler at 2.8. I think it sounds very normal behaviour (or I hope so!)

thx! feeling a bit less anxious now!!!

i've resigned myself to thinking that if there is issues the playschool will pick up on it
