Potty Training Question

A friend of mine is potty training her 2 year old dd. It's going ok, her dd has just cracked wee's but is no where near getting the poo bit.
She poo's in her knickers at least twice a day and it is driving her mum bonkers.
My friend keeps asking me what she should do, but tbh my ds was so easy with the potty I just don't know what to tell her.
Any tips or will it just come in it's own time?

Bribery. I had a sweetie jar for mine and every time they hit the target they got a couple of smarties. Mine were both pretty easy and quick with it as well. She'll get it eventually.

Thaqt's what I did with my ds1. I got a big bag of the party size smarties and when he did a poo in the potty he got about 3 little smarties.
I did tell my friend this but she doesn't want to use chocolate.

I would say as long as yr. friends DD is READY then at home leave her without knicks and put a potty nr, her.

Remind her periodically but don't over stress her.

when going out put her in nappies, and explain why kindly.

she'll get there.

Again, that's what I did with my ds1. we spent 3 weeks of nappies whilst out (but still taking a pottette) and naked waist down when at home, but she thinks that'd be too confusing for her dd.
All good ideas though and I will put them to her again

Maybe her DD is not ready quite yet.

If she doesn't want to use chocolate, will stickers work? How about story time on the potty after a meal - once she poos on the potty once, she might do it again?
