So...I'm just wondering-is anyone out there having a problem with kids' imaginary friends?

the only problem with my middle dd's (6)friend is that he is called Derek! and he comes round to take her out for supper and they talk all the time on the phone about how they both like flat eggs (fried eggs)

weird methinks..... i blame the parents....

DS2 had Donald for several years between 3 and starting school. DS3 had Luke and Tom Thumb at a similar age. I always found it rather cute, if a bit annoying when I got told off for sitting in their chairs. They were so real to both of them.

ds had baby dinosaur for years. He had birthdays, came on holiday with us, the lot. We would be out walking and ds would suddenly yell at us to stop because bd had fallen over. We had to wait while ds picked him up and checked he was ok. We started to hear less and less when ds was about 6
