Best bed guard for a toddler bed??

I have just bought dd her first bed and its a pine toddler bed the same size as a cot bed.

I have been looking at bed guards and see that some of the fabric ones dont fit cot bed size.

Any ideas on a good one? Budget is £25. Thanks.

DD has a toddler bed the same size. We haven't bothered with a guard as the 'drop' is so small - she has occasionally rolled out of bed and remained sleeping! I tend to turn her duvet sideways and tuck her in both sides which helps. We also have a couple of cushions on the floor 'just in case'.

they do fit, we just got one the other day its a tomy soft blue one like mesh, and folddownable, its from mothercare
its a cot bed we put it on and its fine?

I too never bothered. Just out a mattress/cushions on the floor. Put the duvet crossways, as mejon says.

Spend £25 on wine

My first ever mumsnet post was about this.

By the time I'd tracked down one that would fit, ds had stopped falling out of bed . I think it only took him about 3 days.

We put cushions on the floor to prevent serious injury. She soon learned not to fall out.

same as Jamie, put some padding on the floor, ds rolled out of bed for a couple of nights, then just stopped. toddler beds are low to the ground. also like mejon we now have a full size single duvet which is on sideways, tucked under the mattress,so its only open on one side. this also stops them losing their covers in the night and waking up cos their cold.

Same- never had a guard, it was fine , with 3 DCs.
