Constant stream of agressive tall from 2 yr old boy - is this normal or is he trying to tell me something?

My 2.4 yr old boy has, over the last 4 weeks or so, started this constant stream of agressive chatter - 'Push the baby! Kick! Hit the baby's head! Hit mummy's head on the floor!' etc etc. His baby brother arrived 8 weeks ago, and he coped beautifully for a few weeks - but now this. I'm at home full time with him, and try to make sure he gets lots of love and praise and hugs, as does DH. We dopn't use physical punishment on him, and he only sees cbeebies on TV, so I'm at a loss to know where this violence is coming from - or how to deal with it. Obviously if he is physical towards the baby (which he is sometimes) he gets a good telling off and goes straight in the naughty corner. But should I punish this agressive talk - or just see it as a way of him expressing his feelings without acting on them?

It's a bit odd, he must be getting it from somewhere. Toddler group?

I'd just ignore him. Once he sees that you aren't interested or impressed, he'll get bored.
