My dd is 23 wks old and has been a good sleeper from birth. For the last couple of weeks she has been wakening through the night and at first dh and I put it down to teething but now she seems to be hungry. She will settle after feed but wakes again for more 3 hrs later! She will not take larger bottles of milk and so does anyone have any suggestions/advice?!

My DS did the same thing, a great sleeper then suddenly at 5 months he started waking more at night. Have you started weaning? That was our solution - early I know. A few mouthfuls of baby rice in the morning and evening made a huge difference tho!

I agree, they are all ready for weaning at different stages, if it's been going for more than a week, nd you are sure it's hunger not comfort, I would start on some solids.

You could try a hungry baby milk first if she's not on it already, then go down the rice route if you think she can manage it.

Good luck!

Thanks. Have been trying her on solids and she seems quite happy then starts gagging. have made sure no lumps etc so not sure why she is doing this. Will try hungry milk tonight.

Gagging is a natural reaction, I'm sure you know that, sorry, but try the HBM and see if that works. Here's hoping for a peaceful night zzzzzzzzzzzz
