Well it has taken DD until the age of 3.7 to decide to coat her hair in Sudocrem. Any ideas as to how to get the ruddy stuff out? Neat shampoo/washing up liquid? Help!

Thanks! She's a pain about having her hair washed at the best of times so this will be fun .

you poor thing , i always hide the sudocrem up in the top press as i hate the bloody stuff , I've tried to google sudocrem in hair for you but didn't find any good advice sorry .

I usually hide it too - but used it this morning and forgot to put it back! Google wasn't much help was it. I'm off to try the neat shampoo now - wish me luck.

heehee. Someone else suffering too!

Just ordinary shampoo and a very thorough hairwash. You may need a few applications.

This is usually accompanied by me reminding them that this is why we dont put sudocrem on hair.

good luck

i think something oil based maybe bit of baby oil and then shampoo it after

OK panic over - a liberal coating of neat shampoo (adults rather than milder kids stuff) got it out first go. Thank God! Also managed to get DD to sit relatively still enough for me to trim her hair afterwards (after a somewhat unsuccessful trip to the hairdressers last week where all we managed was a tiny trim to her fringe) Thanks .

Now let's go and hide that pot...

I remeber trying to get it out of the carpet after DS1 had smeared it everywhere. Vile stuff!
