Do they all go through this stage? DS is being just a little maddening at the moment - he wants something, then he doesn't then he wants it again, and revs himself up to screaming pitch eg: Mummy can I have a drink/
I don't want it (I take the drink away)
I WANT IT (I say he just told me he didn't want it. I ask him to make his mind up, he wants the drink, I give it to him..... I DON'T WANT IT.
At which point I take it away and tip it down the sink or drink it myself, he then has a tantrum. THis can also be applied to food, going to the park, what trousers he's going to wear....
Tips, please. Before I throttle him.

haha yes it's normal i think

i tend to just say "well, here's your drink, i'll leave it on the table if you want it"
and try not to get dragged into any kind of argument
