DD2 (3.6) was close to losing it yesterday because she DID NOT WANT Polly to put the kettle on. She wanted Sukey to do it (we were reading a nursery rhyme book)

She is wierd

It made me laugh though

DD (when she was 7 ) having a hysterical screaming tantrum at the dinner table in front of a visitor because I grated the cheese on the wrong size hole of the grater.

I was not laughing at the time.

DS, 2.5 years old, because his daddy moved a book closer to him so he could grab it easier!!!

heth1980 · 15/03/2010 13:33

DD, just turned 2, because i told her she couldn't have a penguin (the animal, not the biscuit!)

thumbwitch · 15/03/2010 13:35

DS, 2.3, because he had the Wrong Fork.

Blomkvist · 15/03/2010 13:37

DS who was about 2, was distraught that he couldn't drink the pink sick that his brother had just vommed up.

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 15/03/2010 13:41

ROFL at these! DS is only 18mths and is yet to have any real major meltdowns but I will be thinking of these when he does!

Dd 3.2 has been having regular melt downs in recent weeks and is happening at least 3 times a week...it goes like this:

Me: 'Dd put your coat on , we are going to Grandma's'
Dd: 'I don't wan't to go to Grandma's'
Me: 'If you don't hurry up, I'll leave you here on your own'
Dd: 'Leeeaaave meeeee' (I then pushguide her out into the porch whilst she screams.)
Out and down the road to the car, Dd screaming 'I don't want to go to Grandma's'
Half the 8 mile car trip with crying and screaming Dd. Me with excruciating headache and expecting to be stopped by the police for kidnapping a child!

Get to Grandma's, Dd really pleased to see her

Leaving my Mum's just reverse the above.
Dd loves my Mum to bits and this is doing my head in!

Ds (3) had a tantrum when the snow finally melted and said 'why did you do that mummy, you meanie'

fizzpops · 15/03/2010 14:01

DD (22mo) had a tantrum in the park on Saturday because she wanted to go to the pub to watch the rugby with Daddy.

Daddy was secretly pleased but tbh wherever he was going she would have wanted to go. Somehow my activities do not have this effect on her.

Pumphreydidit · 15/03/2010 14:06

Ds (2.8) went into meltdown screaming "You wrecked my train".
That would be the imaginary train that no one else could see.

cyteen · 15/03/2010 14:11

DS regularly runs away screaming and crying when I offer him...the exact foodstuff or object he has just indicated that he wants
