Has anyone got any experience of using this milk? I started my 5 week old on it last week because she struggles with trapped wind and strains when trying to poo. But when I premade my bottles for the night feed and then went to use them later on the milk had seperated. It seemed to be ok when stirred but wondered if anyone had seen this so have put her back on Aptamil 1.

I used Aptamil before Aptamil Comfort was around, I found that DD refused Aptamil powder but took the pre-made. It seemed to separate and had small lumps, no matter how I made it, and seemed more powdery than the pre-made. DD is very texture fussy even now.

Have you tried colief, very good with trapped wind and 'colic' type symptoms.

I used Aptamil Comfort for my DD, now 2.9, and she loved it. She had tummy problems too and after trying sveral diffeent milks found this one to be the best. It is thicker than some other formulas and I would always just make the bottle at the time so never had a problem with separating. She was a nightmare to feed until she started on Aptamil Comfort and after that she was great. Only thing I would add is that I am in Portugal and may be a slight difference between Aptamil Comfort here and the one in the UK but I doubt is anything big.

We have been using this with our DD for several weeks (she is now 7 weeks) and agree that it does separate, but so long as you shake the bottle before using it it seems to be fine.

Yeah if you shake the bottle its fine. Also you need to use the next size up teat as it is so thick (sorry if you aleady knew that!)

I gave it for a week and didnt find it made a difference for us. Also I tasted it and it made me gag
