6 week milestone worries

Hi,

I am a bit worried about my babies development. She is now 6 1/2 weeks. She did not smile yet and she does not track objects. You can hold something in front of her and she just looks straiht "through" it.

Should I worry? or am i just overreacting?

I know they say all babies develop differently. but I read when googling that if baby does not smile by 6 weeks there are some development problems... then in other places you read that babies can start smiling up to 8 weeks...

thanks..

THanks...

Why don't you ask your health visitor? It's a bit difficult to tell through cyber space.

Hope your DD is fine

I think your baby forgot to read the Baby Development book!!
What sort of health monitoring are you under, health visitor? Just ask them to look her over with you, that should put your mind at rest.
