Teething and not eating

My 9 month old DS has got about 6 teeth which caused the usual problems when coming through. In the last week though he has totally gone off food- even beakfast which he used to guzzle down. I have got a feeling this is connected to teething. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do??

Teething=no food - totally normal in our house. He sometimes has weetabix or porridge by their halve measures and some little snacks.

DS2 is 18 mths and when necessary I allow him to exist on cubes of cheese, cucumber, yogurts, 1/2 weetabix and little bowls of porridge - a fab day includes chicken, broccoli and mash potato.

Please bear in mind my DS2 is 18 mths and has followed the above pattern as necessary since he came off bottles at (approx) 14 mths.

My experience through my children and numerous friends is that going off food is absolutely normal.
