rice powder for colic?

Anyone had experience with using tiny spoon of baby rice powder paste to settle a colicky baby (this one is 9 weeks)?

Various people have suggested this including a pharmacist - off the record. Have already tried infacol and gripe water with limited success.

We bought a pack of baby rice powder tho it does say 4 months plus...just wondering whether to give it a try or will it overload babys tum? am willing to consider anything these days (4 weeks into colic) otherwise its more bouncing with baby on the exercise ball...and another 100 laps of the park with the pram!!

i wouldn't

colic is horrid but it does settle down

have you thought about a cranial osteopath? Maybe a sling?

i am not sure what baby rice would do to an immature digestive system but i can't see it working TBH

Have you seen GP? Could be reflux in which case there are treatments available.

I really wouldn't give baby rice at this age.
