As it says above my dd has always been on/off on bein unsettled at playgroup she has been goin ova a yr!!! Im a nursery nurse n seen loads of unsettled behaviour but can not cope with my own dd!!! She cries wen going in n holds onto railings which i struggle with as im 37wks pregnant wen in wont go to staff or decide on anything to play with i try to talk her round for up to 10 mins but she cries n whinges in the end i have to leave her cryin!! ( she doesnt do this everytime but happenin more n more!!!) Staff say she stops quickly n ive witnessed this myself!! I was upset bout her doin this but thought its just a phase but she has now gone to the extremes of not wanted to be left with grandparents that she spends alot of time with!! Yesterday she cried the whole time even in mcdonalds wen havin a treat 4 tea!! Didnt eat a thing!! All smiles wen i came back!! PPl keep sayin its cause babies coming so am dreading wot she will be like wen baby arrives i feel claustaphobic n carnt see and end to this!! Any advice!=)xxxxxxxxxxxxx thanks

is it possible that anyone's told her that when you have the baby you won't be around for a day or so - maybe she's frightened about this. Have you tried to ask her what's wrong - I'm assuming you reassure her when you leave nursery that you'll be back very soon and are just going shopping or whatever and maybe plan something nice for her for when she comes out, ie - when mummy comes back we can bake some buns, play with playdough etc. It's not easy for either of you but it will right itself, it's just hard whilst you're going through it - good luck with all of this and the baby x
