Hi. My eldest DS is 5.He does have some very mild Aspergers symptoms, but goes to normal school. You wouldn't know if you met him,he just has some personality quirks really. His teacher says he is popular etc.But I notice he plays so agressively.O.K,they are boys playing together, they all appear to be killing each other. But then they move on,he takes it all so personally...and seems to be unable to let something go.He goes to a sports class with alot of the boys from his class. One day one boy went into "his spot".He spent the rest of the class putting his hand up to him-the way a traffic cop stops traffic, giving out to him,he just couldn't let it go.His little brother-who is nearly 3,adores him.ES ignored him for first 2.5 years, but they do play now.But say they are playing chasing,ES will be constantly shouting out,"I'm winning" etc in sneery voice, and inevitably it ends in tears, for YS. ES was extremely physically violent until he was 3-I just put a no tolerance policy in wherever we were and stuck to it,which has worked. But I cannot seem to get him to calm down when playing-he just takes it all so seriously! Help! Woopsi.

Sympathies. And my 5yo DS doesn't have SN as a factor... just typical poor impulse and temper control.
