Clary · 27/02/2010 19:09

Riven I know this is a lighthearted thread but your post has suddenly made me see a little insight into your life.

An insight into what you have to deal with and manage every day.

I know in a big way that you have a lot to deal with, but sometimes it's the minutiae that get to you.

Hats off to you.

BTW mine have eaten rice krispies and fruit (banana/carrot) for breakfast; beans on toast for lunch; biscuits at a singing event this avvo and tea at church - fish fingers, baked potatoes, peas, and choc cake (x several oh dear)

Riven - has it made any difference??

I moan about DD's diet being so restrictive due to intolerances etc

Nothing to what you have to do...

missmoopy · 27/02/2010 19:12

Riven, have just read up about the diet. Interesting stuff, and I hope its working for your dd (and sorry again for being a twat!)

notnowbernard · 27/02/2010 19:12

Riven - have you seen any results with it?

foxinsocks · 27/02/2010 19:13

we did v badly today as ds had football miles away (an hour's drive grrr) and kick off was late so by the time we finished there and got back it was 3pm (having left at 10.30!) so I said we could stop off at McD on the way back but I forgot it was the fucking rugby (terrible traffic) and mcdonalds being refurbished so no drive in so had to give up and find a shop (and by now it was 4pm) so we have eaten

pre football
hot cross bun and an apple each

dd ate at football a packet of crisps and a packet of crackers

then the next thing we ate was at 4pm grrr when I found a sainsbos

ds had a cream cake and a packet of chicken pieces and a pot of olives
dd had a fruit tart, a packet of turkey
eaten in the car park they were so hungry lol

then they have just had
roast chicken
pigs in blankets
roast pots
green beans
revels
ice cream

I thought we were all going to pass out at 4!

Own brand 'shreddies' with semi skim; apple juice.
custard cream and more juice for mid morning.
tomato soup and roll; yogurt and honey.
fish and chips; kiwifruit.

Pretty rubbish really. Not that untypical.

missmoopy · 27/02/2010 19:15

Thats amazing, and must have made an enormous difference to her quality of life

OP posts:
allaboutme · 27/02/2010 19:16

DS's have had
boiled eggs and soldiers for breakfast
tuna sandwiches for lunch
party food for tea - loads and loads of crap, maybe a few strawberries but mostly biscuits and cake!
Will offer them fruit just before bed in case they are peckish but they ate so much crap I doubt it!

bibbitybobbityhat · 27/02/2010 19:17
