I'm going to start doing this every day so I can chart my 2yr old's diet. I'm worried about it.
Today
2 pieces of peanut butter on toast
fruit juice
Philadelphia, not the bread
grape
1 piece of cucumber
yoghurt
2 fruit bars
1 piece of cucumber
chocolate milk
formula milk
some chips and ketchup

meandjoe · 28/02/2010 19:49

My ds is 2.6 and has always barely eaten anything (even though he's huge). This thread has made me worry a bit less though! Realised he does eat roughly what other kids do which is reassuring.

Breakfast: 3/4 of a slice of eggy bread, small cup of milk (4 ounces).

Lunch: Ham sandwich and small bag of maltesers.

Snack: Grapes and apple chopped into chunks.

Tea: Homemade spag bol.

9 ounces of milk at bedtime.

Feierabend · 28/02/2010 19:55

DD (nearly 3):

Breakfast: Porridge with apple & pear.
Toast with butter.
A whole pear.
Milk.

Leftover birthday cake and milk.

Tea: Cheese sandwich, marmite sandwich, tomatoes, grapes, yoghurt, milk.

MarthaFarquhar · 28/02/2010 19:56

DD 2.11

cup of milk, bowl of chopped melon
enormous plate of home-made fish fingers, roast potatoes, kale
treacle tart
(out to lunch)
french bread and pate
bowl of chopped pineapple
cup of milk

she'll eat most stuff, but is a pudding person at heart.

Chilimama · 28/02/2010 19:57

DS 9 yrs and DD's ages 3.11 and 5.3 size of portion in line with age of each child.

Breakfast - Porridge with sultanas, dried apricots and prunes. Milk to drink.

Snack - Chocolate biscuit and yogurt. Glass of milk.

Lunch - Roast lamb, roast potatoes, stuffing, yorkshire puddings, carrots, cabbage, parsnips and gravy. Apple juice to drink.

Dinner - Ham and cheese sandwich with cucumber, a few monster munch. Milk to drink.

Snack - Satsuma and a yogurt.

DS refuses to eat roast meat except chicken so had extra potatoes. They all eat quite well luckily. Seeing it written down I can see why we get through 4 pints of milk a day
