DD has had milk, milk, milk, milk and milk. (which will no doubt carry on through the night )
DS for breakfast had McDonalds pancakes and syrup washed down with milk.
Then he had a yoghurt and some little chocolate animal things.
For lunch he had a cheese toasty.
Then I think he had two yoghurts.
For dinner I did make spaghetti with a tomato and hidden veggie sauce but he refused to eat it because it wasnt the Lloyd Grossman one that he likes so he just had some jam on toast instead. He is now munching on an apple.

Writing it down has just made me realise how badly he has eaten today!!

(they are still eating and are having strawberries, poor hungry kids!)

feedthegoat · 27/02/2010 19:24

Ds (4) has had

Salad sandwiches with extra cucumber, carrot sticks and a cheese string for breakfast

Banana and biscuit mid morning

Marmalade on toast, a pear and fun size bag of Malteasers for lunch

Tomato pasta and fruit salad for tea.

As you can see he doesn't always have his meals in the normal order but as long as it evens out over the day i go with the flow.

CantSupinate · 27/02/2010 19:24

I'm only sure about DD, age 8yo:

2 scones (shop-made, but premium make)

MaRGerine and cheese sarnie on white bread

Twix bar (she did trampolining and 2 hrs skating today!)

Few pieces of marked-down Pizza Express Chicken pizza

Small piece of fruit (?banana)

Piece of lemon cake (store bought)

Potatoes + various ordinary veg + sausages + gravy (a very standard tea for us). Will soon be having 2 biscuits (probably jammy dodgers) + hot chocolate with marshmallows & whipped cream for pudding.

DS-5yo & DS-10yo have had very similar today. DS2yo has a pants diet : all Shreddies & McVites cheddars.

Hmmmm, my DD (2) has pulled out all the stops today and eaten.... Some of my butternut squash and red pepper soup, half a kiwi, a few quavers and about a tablespoon full of lasagne.

She has peeled 2 'umas' but not for eating, just because she likes doing that....!

SofaQueen · 27/02/2010 19:34

Off topic: Riven, I am getting to know more about you through pieces of information on different threads and I am amazed and humbled by what you go through on a daily basis and how you handle yourself. Wow. I'm glad that the diet is working (will google up the diet and see how it works in cases of uncontrolled epilepsy). Just had to say this.

GF mesa sunrise flakey cereal for tea.

They'll probably have a slice of toast later if they're hungry.

My 3 year old

bowl of one weatabix and some cornflakes

bun filled with custard

chocolate stick (from nice italian shopkeeper for being a 'beautiful girl')

2 pieces of my sushi

yoghurt and vanilla bean smoothie

cheese and onion pie

small bowl pilau rice with half a chicken leg
apple
grapes few slices banana

displayuntilbestbefore · 27/02/2010 19:53

My 2 older boys have been with friends today but ds3 (2 yrs) has eaten:

breakfast- 2 weetabix with stewed appled followed by a 3rd weetabix with a sprinkling of blueberries on the top.
Cup of orange juice

mid morning - an apple

lunch - turkey sandwiches, tomato, cucumber slices and a yoghurt
drink of water

mid afternoon - satsuma, orange juice

tea - chicken breast, swede, carrots, mashed potato, peas, broccoli and gravy
followed by 2 small yoghurts, a little pot of blueberries and a chocolate biscuit
cup of milk

That's pretty average for what my youngest eats each day. The others eat that bit more and I am at thought of what my food bills will be like when they are all in their teens!

winnybella · 27/02/2010 19:55

Blu · 27/02/2010 20:00

Diluted juice and half a cereal bar

I believe dh bought a slice of chocolate cake for sharing with a hot milk in the cafe mid afternoon. They had both just scooted about 2 miles to the park.

Prawns, toast, tomatoes and green beans with grapes for pudding and a cup of milk.
