I have searched on the Internet but cannot find what they are made of. Has this happened to anyone else.

He had taken three big coals out of the (cold) fire and starting nibbing on the corners, so that now they are white at the corners instead of black. Help - what has he eaten.

To be honest, he seems just fine but I don't want to be up half the night checking he hasn't been poisoned.

Does anyone know what these coals are made out of?

when my son was about 8 month his dad found with one of these in his mouth. We rang NHS direct and they did some kind of check and said that should be OK. He later started vomiting but as I'd been sick the previous evening we put it down to a tummy upset and nothing else. i guess if anything unpleasant had gotten into him the tummy upset probably brought it all up again.

hope that helps a bit !

Both mine did this - they were both fine, not even sick.
