Hyper toddler - normal behaviour

Hi, my toddler (2.6) can be very hyper. He gets really excited and silly, but he is not like that all the time and can be calm, but it is quite frequent. I would say about 3/4 times a day ( for about half an hour). He often seems so much more hyper than most of his toddler friends.

He can concentrate esp when it comes to cars or trains, but doesn't really do puzzles. But he loves books and will sit through a few stories.

Does your toddler get hyper? Is this "normal" behaviour?

Any advice?

mine (20 months) is hyper majority of the time, ive heard its normal for the age?

I hope it's normal. I think it is, but I know you should not compare but all our friends seem a lot calmer.

I know its hard but don't compare, children are all different, and having seen lots of 2 year olds in the past 6 years or so (i work in a nursery 2-3year old room) the behaviour you describe does not sound unsual
