Hello there. I have never posted here before but am in need of some friendly advice. I am getting very worried about my daughter. Both she and I think she needs help in talking through her feelings and addressing her stress and anger. She is a complicated character - very controlling and deeply insecure and as the hormones are starting to kick in I feel that if we can't work through stuff now - things will only get worse for her and her relationships. Is this something for school, NHS or a private matter? Thanks

May I suggest going to your gp with your daughter. Your GP should be able to refer you to some kind of NHS Service where your daughter/and or you can talk to someone who can help.

Echo what chocobiccie says. It's good that you've talked to her and come to this conclusion together. Hope you get the support you need.

Thanks people. Will definitely do that. Was initially a bit worried that the doc might just laugh me out of the surgery - but feel more confident now.
