Snuffly coughing baby

My DD, 8 1/2 weeks) has started coughing overnight and is sound very snuffly. wondering whether I need to get her checked out or see how she is tomorrow morning. she was a bit snuffly at 5 1/2 weeks and the doctor gave her antibiotics for it. I had a cold this week 24-48 hour one and also nearly lost my voice for a few days.

She is exclusively BF so would i be passing antibodies to her from my cold?? She is fine but not quite as smiley as usual. Is there anything that can help a cold/cough?

well, you just have to wait and see how she goes. I would, though, get her checked up just to see the cough is "up" and has not descended "down" the lungs.

Their nasal passages are under developed at this age, so any snot they might have goes down to their throat and creates a cough...

Thanks, I will take her in the morning.
