im a new mum... so have no idea wat im doing! my baba's 3 weeks old, and coz hes a boy ( im assuiming), wenever he pees, its never contained in the nappy! it just flows out of the nappy and down his back, and soaks his cloths n sheet and etc.

in hospital the midwife said coz hes a boy, make sure u fasten the nappy real tight, and this is wat i do and it still leaks...

does anyone know anything i can do to solve this? would save me from changing baba's cloths every 2 hours and also... do u reckon its time for him to go a size up in nappies? right now he still uses size 1, and hes 8 pounds now. (was born 7pounds 9)

help!

ok, not had a boy so don't really know what I'm talking about but no-one else is contributing so I'll give my 2 pennys worth. Try pointing his willy down?

May be a silly question but have you made sure to face his penis downwards?

Make sure his penis is pointing downwards. It doesn't need to be any tighter than a girl baby's nappy, no idea why MW would tell you that.

I usually use major leakage as a clue to go up a size, as well. Because if it is too small can cause leakage.
