DD 5 months rocks the whole time

DD is 5 months old and when ever she is sitting on my lap or anyone is holding her she rocks backwards and forwards and kind of bounces. Everyone else's babies seem to just sit still, is this normal?

sounds like shes excited....my dd 10mths never sits still on a lap very squirmy wirmy

shes always bounced up and down as soon as she was able too, also wiggles side to side, never gave it a second thought as anything to be concerned about

my dd does this particularly if theres music on or some activity around...she sounds very happy.

any other concerns?

my ds is 4.5 months and does this constantly too! he's always got a big grin on his face or is cooing and razzing so i assume he's happy. V noticeable at things like baby music though when all the others are sitting there placidly, he certainly knows how to attract attention!

Must admit I was a bit concerned too, so will be following this thread with interest.
