DS weighs 13.8 kgs at 2.4 mths. A bit concerned. How much did/does your DC weight at same age?

HV weigh-ins are on a Thursday and I work so unable to take him to be weighed and see if his weight is okay. We weighed him at home. He seems similar in size to his peers of same age but his tummy is a way bigger.

mine are far far older but that does sound large for his age. How big was he when he was born?

or do you mean 2.4 years?

puppie · 01/02/2010 10:25

Oh what an idiot I am..yes I meant 2.4 years!! And I have posted twice...very tired, darned noisy neighbours keeping me awake all night!

lol, I was trying to be tactful. I didn't want to say

GOOD GOD YOUR BABY IS ENORMOUS lol

that sounds fine for a 2 year old. They often get those little bellies then as they get a bit older and run around more, they run them off.

I thought, "bloody hell that's how much ds weighed at 2 years!!!" So I guess that answers your question.

I've noticed (actually dsis pointed it out) that ds goes through a slightly chubby-looking phase right before he grows a bit taller. His moobies never seem to change though!

Ha, yep everyone is going to think I'm a troll now when they read the title!

Lol at my idiocy! Thanks for your replies, seems he's okay then!

it's horrible what the sleep deprivation does, isn't it? I'm having a shithouse time with it too atm. Five hours would be an ungodly luxury

phdlife I feel your pain! Is it the kids keeping you up?

My DC slept beautifully last night...life seems particularly unfair when on a rare ocasion DC sleeps, upstairs neighbours carry on their (illegal CD making, drug trafficking, bomb making, knock-off Dior bag etc.. etc...business all night long) I dont really mean that but in the wee hous the mind runs riot!

oh, we used to have those neighbours. Except it was all true! And worse!

Last night it was - late night (my fault, new season of House started late); massive windstorm up at 1am to shut windows; ds crawling into bed at 4:15 to try and sleep on top of me, then dd awake, then dd just dropping off when ds wakes again at 6... Been doing that for a couple of days now. Wish ds could say what it was that's waking him.
