dd has been crying on and off all aft, have now given milk and calpol, how much milk did you give during this teething time - her bottom molars are nearly thru and the top ones are just showing. She has a rash around her mouth and just a couple of spots on her bum, and has had a runny nose.

She doesn't like having her face or mouth touched so difficult to give teething gel. any other soothing suggestions or good meals to give at this time? She is eating small amounts of her meals but not "enough" so is getting hungry at 4 rather than 5/5.30ish.

Do I give a few ounces top up of milk eachday? she is a bit skinny due to previous illness so important to keep up weight gain.

There is something called Ashton & Parsons Powders that helped my DD (she teethed very early). They're in an old fashioned white box - v small - and you can get them from Sainsbury's. I found that Dentinox teething gel helped the most but guess that will be difficult for you.

I gave my DD follow on formula when she wouldn't eat - I wanted to get as much into her as I could. This may depend on your view of formula and, if your DD is not used to it, whether she will drink it or not?

I'd give top ups if she'll take them.
