I have namechanged - as I feel a bit silly asking this because I am rather worried.

DS (5) and I were recently visiting a friend who has a DD (just 3).

They were playing doctors and nurses. It went very quiet and when I looked I saw DS sitting over friends DD. They both looked up startled and guilty. Mate's DD was lying on her front and quickly puled up her trousers.

I couldn't quite see from my viewpoint exactly what was happening but she did have her bum exposed. I think DS had a play syringe.

They both said they weren't doing anything and when I asked DS about it later he didn't want to talk about it.

I was shocked and worried at the time and didn't tell my mate, as I think she'd be the type to read more into than even I am and would possibly make reasons for us not to meet up for a while.

Please reassure me this is normal behaviour? If not, what should I do?

SOunds normal to my untrained ears.

My dd is only 2 and gets 'startled' if she has her bottom out sometimes...

Maybe they were seeing if the syringe went in where the poo came out or something. Or they were looking at each others bits.

Poor you! Sounds fine to me though
