Should I be concerned? She hurts herself to get cuddles....

DD is just 2 - taken to banging her head against the wall to get cuddles. She's really hurting herself. I've told her she just has to ask for a cuddle, doesn't have to hurt herself. Think some of it is jealousy as I mind her cousin and he gets picked up and cuddled if he hurts himself. She does it when I go out too according to DH.... anyone else had similar experience?

No similar experiences but it appears that she has learnt the cause and effect trick. You are better off (sorry, I'm not trying to be mean) ignoring it, especially if you know she's doing it on purpose. When she see's she won't get a reaction she should stop. I don't make a big deal out of tumbles, just a quick "Doh, up you get"
