Clarks sizes always seem to be different from the standard size - and (half?) size up or down from other makes - can't remember which.

I want to order some shoes for DD off the internet and not sure what european size she is.

Thanks.

Just got my ds some new shoes in an independent shop doing continental shoes and the lady there said clarks were a about half a size bigger or so but to check fitting as they all differ. He was a clarks 61/2 a few days before and she said nearer a 7 which is a 24, he ended up in a 24 but she suggested he try on some 23's as well. To be honest i was unhappy with the service in clarks and the obvious disinterest of the teenage shop assistant and ds was very vocal in his opinion of the shoes in their sale," no mummy not buy these".I am much more confident the independant shop knew what they were doing, and if you're anywhere near Ilkley would recoment Poppy Reed.Perhaps only in sale season though, as his boots were reduced from £50!! to £25
