new baby rivalry or terrible twos?

My toddler who is nearly three has gone from being a complete delight to an utter rogue over the past week.

He has a new brother - 7 weeks old...who he still seems to adore - constantly wanting to cuddle him etc. We thought all was going swimmingly but he has now started being really naughty, deliberately misbnehaving and throwing things at people (including an unfortunate incident with a slipper, an esculator and a middle aged man in the Marks and Spencer...) It would be funny if it was not so frustrating/depressing!

In your wisdom do you think it is just terrible twos come late or a reaction to the new born?

And does anyone have a magic wand? Or failing that advice?

thanks all x

i woudl say a combination

DS is 3.5 years and his sister is 13 weeks

the first few weeks were a total nightmare slightly challenging in terms of his behvaiour

it did settle down a lot though

thanks ruby - good to know there is hope! I am finding it really hard as it is making me feel like I am not being a good mother to either the toddler or the baby....niether are getting the attention they crave!
