Has my DD got thrush?

She is 2 (25mths) and has had a white coating inside her vagina for quite a while now. I bath her daily in a kids bubble bath and very gently wash her down below with a baby sponge, because I have noticed she is very sensitive. I just clean outside and around it, wouldnt clean inside as I know this would make her sore.

She has also been getting nappy wash quite often, which she never really suffered with before, and it can be very red and sore. I use vaseline and then use metanium when the nappy rash occurs which seems to take the redness away.

She is also not sleeping very well at night and seems uncomfortable sometimes when she wakes up, almost like she has wind!

Any advice greatly appreciated! x

i would take to gp just to get checked ,just before xmas a child i look after had thrush his mum thought it was just nappy rash but he had raised white spots all over his willie and it looked really sore!!!

Thanks. The only thing with taking her to the doctors is that she hates even me doing her nappy, she clamps her legs closed and gets a bit upset when I wipe her. She has always been this way but did tell me earlier that it was sore. Was wondering if there are any creams I can buy over the counter, just to see if it helps.
