Helping DS to pull up

Ds is 9 months and can't roll or crawl and is getting increasingly frustrated. He tolerates tummy time but loves walking holding my hands. Now I know I shouldn't be wishing this time away where I can plonk him down and he stays put but he is just getting cross and bored. He went through a similar thing before he could sit and we got him one of those inflatable rings which was great. He can pull up using my hands but not anything else and all he wants to do is stand and walk!

Try a walking thingy you know like a baby zimmer frame. He can practice walking and rest against it to stand more. A friends ds is exactly like yours and we are all convinced he will walk first as the others are all happy crawling and cruising. He's got extra incentive to walk.

Do you mean like one of those VTech walkers? I worry that he will pull it over on himself if he falls on his bottom!

That might be a problem with our wooden trolley and blocks one. Friends have one from elc that has a really wide wheel base and looks impossible to tip backwards because of its triangluar shape.

My friends dd was a late walker and refered to the hosp, they suggested putting toys/puzzles on a low table to encourage stamding and laso to wear shoes in the house to help ankle support ( although she was a lot older at this tiME) Dont worry, it will come in plenty of time!!!
