DS shuffles on his bottom when nappy off.. why?

He's been a bit constipated .. I guess some different foods over the xmas / new year.. but he's done this a few times now. Being a mum to a cat I know that they do it if they have worms (my cat doesn't, and I've checked DS's bottom - looks fine)

just wondered if anyone has any experience of this please..?

just thought I should add that he's 23 months, in nappies, thinking about potty training in a month or two (he tells us when he's going to do a pooh and a few other signs which hint he might be ready soon..)

thanks, not sure about it feeling nice.. he doesn't look particularly happy as he does it , though maybe I'm just linking it with the constipation and it's completely separate.

anyone else got any thoughts?
