Thats my questions. DD is 9 and a bit months. Has BFs at 7am, 6.30pm and 10pm. Formula at 2.30pm.
She is gradually taking less and less formula and took none yesterday. Is this normal age to drop this feed? Seems a bit early.

Any info would be great.

Ginger- hello- DS & DD1 both dropped to just 2/3 feeds per day by about 9-10mths... DD2 is currently only on 7am, 4pm and 7pm feeds with a bottle of formula after her lunch. She's 10mths and 1 wk... however is still only the size of a 6mo?? (around 14lb)... It seems quite normal IME.

My DTs dropped from evening BF down to just breakfast BF at 14mo, and stopped BF completely at 19mo. Both with a little persuasion from me, but they didn't seem to mind.

Thank you.

Guess if I gave up the 10pm breastfeed she might want the 2.30pm formula feed instead.

Happy for her to continue with the 10pm one now and drop the 2.30pm one is she doesnt want it

I was offering 7oz at 2.30pm, and have reduced this down as it was being wasted. Will try on 4oz today. and see how that goes- but after the amount of lunch she had, she probably wont want it at all!
