Growth spurt at 4 months?

My dd is four months today and for the last two days she has suddenly become ravenous and crying for more formula. She is already on the max she is meant to have but it is suddenly not enough and she complains when the bottle is finished. Could she be having a growth spurt?

it could be a growth spurt or it could be the hot weather making her extra thirsty

No to the second possibility. I live in South Africa and it's our winter at the moment!
