11 week old DD - teething?!

She has the stinkiest nappies, rosy cheeks and is gnawing on her hands (plus dribbling

have checked her gums and there are white things (which don't look like calcium spots on her gum)

she also gives the odd "pain" cry out of the blue

DS was a very late teether and only had 2 teeth by 12 months old

is it possible she is teething or is it just developmental stuff (ie she has found her hands etc)

TIA

DD had two teeth by fourteen weeks and DS didn't get his first till 8 months - it can vary widely so yes I'd suggest teeth.

Teething gel, buy some. A grumpy child over christmas is not fun!

Yep, sounds like teeth to me. My DD is 18 months and STILL has all the symptoms your DD has - it goes on for ever...

DS was teething at this age, he had 8 teeth before he was 6 months old!

We found a teething ring that had been in the freezer for a while very effective.
