8 mo bathtime nightmare

Hi all!! I'm new to this forum so please, be gentle!!

I have an 8 mo daughter and for the past month she's started hating baths!! And I mean hating, it's got so bad that I can't even wipe her face without a full blown tantrum!! I even try to avoid baths when I can!!

Does anyone have any tips or ideas? I didn't have this problem with my now 2yo!!

Does she have any toys in with her to distract her? Could you stick the 2 yo in at one end of the bath at the same time?

I would ignore the tantrums and bath her anyway, singing loudly over her screams. It's just a phase, she'll soon grow out of it.

She always bathes with her big sis. Loads of toys, perfect temperature water. I can't think of what else to do. She used to be fine, this just came out of the blue. She's a little advanced so can stand up and cruise which means it's a battle to keep her in the bath cos she tries very hard to escape and pretty much freaks out completely!!

Would she bath her toy while you bath her? Or bath her toy in a little bowl first?
