22 month old gone off food

HI - I know this is an age old topic but I really need some advice. My 22 month DS has completely gone off food. He has always been a good eater - fussy about green veg but otherwise ok and over the past few months he has gradually stopped eating things. He will eat a few snacks but I am trying to cut these back or offer boring snacks to encourage him to eat at mealtimes. It has got to the stage where I end up crying in exasperation which is not good. We are at the in laws this Christmas and I don't want to be stressed - anyone got any good strategies or advice??? Thank you.

Offer a wide variety of food, all eat together at the table.
At this stage, my children liked a bit of this, bit of that dinners.
By that I mean lots of little portions of different food
