My dd is just 1 and in the last week has turned into a nitemare all of a sudden she is really clingy and mardy and is waking all the time, she has spent the last few night in our bed tut tut i hear you say lol
I know but i have to be at work and sleep calls

I am at the end of my tether with it all and just dont know what to do, i have a few weeks off work over xmas and intend to crack this sleep problem so any tips or advice would be more than welcome

Is she walking?
I only ask because we had a very similar week before ds (12 and half months) started walking.
Now he is toddling about with huge grin - a different chap altogether.
I did wonder what was going on - night waking, constant feeding, generally grumpy, clingy. It was just a phase (until the next one... )

My DS's sleep went haywire at one

think it is a developmental thing

so, yes, just a phase!

i have survived 13 years of child rearing believing 'Its just a phase'.

It is , honestly

Is she cold? Put a jumper over her pjs.

Is she hungry, perhaps a growth spurt, energy use? Give her a bottle of warm milk and settle her back again after.
Or give her some cereal before bed. I did, it worked a treat with all of mine.

If all else fails, bring her into your bed. Its no big deal.
Honestly, you will break the habit before she is 14yrs.
