Nappy changing hell- Advice please!

Help! My 8 month old DD hates having her nappy changed, ( as well as clothes changed, face washed etcetc). Every nappy changing session has become a fight, normally I let her 'roam' for a bit naked, playing whatever to make the inevitable less painful for the both of us but tonight I was in a less than calm mood and she just wanted to play- end result was her having a complete meltdown and me feeling horrible
It doesn't help that my nappy-phobe DP will tickle her or blow raspberries when I try to get him to help me- thus perpetuating the idea that change-time equals fun time.
What can you guys suggest? I have tried all that I can think of- singing songs, silly voices, toys, being as quick as I can (not easy when I feel I will hurt her if I hold her twisting body down!), being stern and saying 'no' etc etc. Or is it time to cut out the 'funny mummy' bit and be serious all the time so she learns that changing needs to get down asap.??? We've got an 8 hour flight coming up and I don't want to have a nappy war whilst flying over greenland!

Songs works for me sometimes: I get him to clap along - for some reason, him doing something like clapping with his hands means the rest of him might be still for 15 seconds.
Sometimes he 'reads' a book!

Oh yes- poor you. And baby. The only thing that helped us was having a baby and diapering the baby. Now she wants too...
Try having a special blanket and diapering her fav doll on it I guess?
