Arrrghh! Two year old taking off nappy at night

Our DD is a bit of a houdini so we have discovered! At night she manages to get out of her sleeping bag, vest, pyjamas AND nappy!

When we go in to get her up she is stark naked, and the items are strewn around the room all over the place. On a few occasions she has done a wee in her bed, and I fear it won't be long before there is something worse!!

Any ideas? I have tried her with pull up nappies but she gets out of those too. (I have considered stapling the nappy on but would that be too extreme?)

I am having this problem with DS 2yo also and it is driving me crazy.

I think it is down to him wanting to fiddle with his willy as he goes to sleep so he just gets his nappy off for good access!

I bought a nappy wrapper which you would use over a washable nappy but put it over his pampers and found he couldn't get it off.

When our dd did this I put her nappy on back to front and put a pair of knickers over the top.

If her nappy is wet/dirty when she takes it off, it could be a sign she is ready for night time toilet training.

My youngest son did this (He has Downs) and I woke up to a bedroom covered (and I mnean covered!) in poo every single day. He was not capable of toilet training and still isn't, and I tried every trick in the book, putting gro bag on backwards, taping on nappy etc and nothign worked. He just eventually grew out of it. Thank goodness, it was soul destroying.
