you said you hate me .....you did!!!!!!!!!

whats going on with our ds??? he is 3.4 and for the last few weeks he has been saying 'you said you hate me .... you did'
we have never said this to him ,so i have no idea where it came from and how to get him to stop saying it ,he says it when we are out so people are looking at us like its true.
have tried reverse phsycology and keep saying it to him but it has'nt worked and have also tried telling him i love him everytime he does it too - that didnt work either
any help appreciated.

Has he picked it up from something on TV or at nursery? It sounds like he's heard this phrase somewhere and realised that it has impact.

I would keep on telling him you love him - he'll get bored of it in time. Have you asked him when you were supposed to have said that to him?
