Growth spurt at 10 weeks?

Having been becoming increasingly settled and even (whisper) managing to sleep through the night a few times, DS has become very unsettled and jittery through the day. Over the past couple of days he's wanting to feed every couple of hours but not finishing the bottle and has gone from having about 4 hours worth of naps through the day to not much more than a bit of fitful dozing. Is it likely to be a growth spurt? (He was born 2 weeks late so I wondered if it could be the 12 week one early). Or could there be something else that I should be looking out for? He doesn't seem to have a cold but perhaps a sore throat or something like that? Or is it just that he's leaving the newborn phase and in transition to becoming more alert and awake generally?

Grateful for any suggestions/experiences. It was over 4 years ago with DS1 and I really can't remember!

Hi my son was the same and it was a grow spurt . If he seems normal and no sign of anything working on him , i'd say it was just a growth spurt , could also be teething , my son cut his 1st teeth at 4 months but was teething from around 6 weeks old . If it keeps up why not try the heavier milk . All the best of luck
