Please help! I have a 11 wk old baby that is starting to sleep through!! Yeah!!
However, my 19mth old is defiant when bedtime comes. If he does fall asleep he then wakes up in the middle of the night and the only way he will settle is if me or my husband lie beside the cot!! On the floor!! OUCH!!
We dare not move or he'll scream the house down! HELP!! We have tried almost every tip but maybe someone out there may know something different and it may help us!!

My 19 month old wants milk twice during the night - once at around 1 then again at 5. Guzzles a whole bottle each time and wakes up soaking wet as even a size 5 nappy can't cope!!

Maybe it's their age - just starting to assert their independence!!

time to move onto powdered skim milk and start watering it down.

i just think its less wastful with paowdered milk to throw the watery stuff out the next morning. also less calories in the night.

Had some of this (a month or so) when no 2 turned up; negotiate for sitting just outside the door. Threaten to shut the door if they don't like it. Assuming they can understand ours was 2; can't really remember if she would have understood at 19 months, I think so but have baby brain!

Advantage is they don't know when you have gone, we sit for 5-10 mins when they often check you are still there, then go.

Also got a bunny clock but may be too young. Am sure it's all related to no 2!
