Is this OK?? 8 yr old DS loves watching Youtube pop videos

Is it appropriate to let my 8 yr old DS watch YouYube pop videos that are fairly 'suggestive' - eg Lady Gaga "Pokerface" and lots of others? He loves music and dancing and also watches Michael Jackson videos and copies the dance moves. I'm reluctant to stop him but reluctant to let him continue as I can tell his interest is beginning to be that of an older teenager. I guess I wanted a range of feedback here on both sides of the argument so I can think about this more carefully.

I guess a lot of that might go over his head. I'd be more concerned about youtube in general. If you look at the comments, the language can be pretty appalling.
