What do you do all day with a 5 month old?

I have a lovely 5 month old DS. We're having a lovely time but I'm starting to wonder how to fill each day, apart from feeding, changing and coffee mornings.

Things we do each day are:

  • read a book
  • some tummy time
  • bathe
  • roll around on play mat
  • hang out in rocker chair
  • go for a walk (weather permitting)

He naps for a couple of hours during the day and we're doing some baby sensory and swimming courses in January.

What else can I do / should I be doing? Any suggestions much appreciated!!

Thanks

Bounce & rhyme sessions at local libraries are good - or anything music-y really. I also started taking DD to toddler groups at that age, most of them seem to have baby areas, it gave her lots to look at and got me out of the house.

He watches me fold laundry, hang out laundry, tidy up, hoover... Then we go pick up his big brother and he watches him play ..
