Does your 2 year old 'pretend' to laugh?

Or is this a bit odd? Ds2 is 2 and a half and he does laugh normally (when tickled or dangled upside down for example,) but he also does this really loud fake laugh when he is showing you something on TV or something...not sure if this is normal.

dd has a fake 'nervous laugh' that she uses when you ask her a question she can't answer - weird but no weirder than yr average 2yo

Yes 2yo children are very freaky at times aren't they.

My 14 month old Ds has just learned a fake laugh, hilarious!

My dd turned 2 less than a week ago. She has SPD and a speech delay. She has also recently started a fake, or forced laughter. I've read that it can be common with people with SPD and Aspergers. I will be asking her OT at next weeks meeting.

Yeah it's normal. They love testing out new sounds and looking at you to see how you react. I laugh along :-) just a bit of cute funniness!
