Is my baby bored?

My baby is 5 months old. I feel like I am not stimulating him enough. Things he does: listen to me singing (poor child) /lying on his playmat/lying under a mobile/going in his buggy/watching me make dinner/being carried around etc. I do lots of making faces and funny noises, but Is this enough??

I have 3 DC and when they were baby's my DH was always so good at shaking rattles, building block towers, picture books etc, I was envious but found it quite boring doing it myself.
I have always done as you do and thought the baby's were more than satisfied because they were with their mommy, the centre of their entire world and being.
Once the baby's got bigger crawling and toddling we could enjoy more physical games which suits me better. Also, books at bedtime are a joy.
