24 month old OBSESSED with lights.

He says the word LIGHT every 1 minute or so, points to them, gets cross if they are on or off and its driving me mad!!! Does this sound like a normal thing as I really am starting to think its a little odd???

My son is the same with fans... desktop, ceiling, winfarms. air conditioning...the whole lot - I (hope) he'll grow out of it.

DS is the same - wants to turn the lights on and off all the time. (Thanks DP for teaching him that )

He'll stop doing it soon enough, and be on to the next obsession

Oh yes very normal.Both dd and ds obsessed with lights at this age,also doors and drawers,opening and shutting,TV remotes,mobile phones and what not.

DD was also obsessed with lights.

Well yes, but the other ones are cute!
(also, wouldn't a 2yo be able to get the batteries out of a cheap torch? DS can certainly get them out of the remote!)
